In your Winchip text or in texts from the Ai library or from the Internet, etc. do some research on lighting calculations and post your discoveries on the blog. Ashley Bell is doing some research into the particulars of lighting for the NCIDQ and we will compare this information when we receive it.

ID1605 should research and blog on landscape and pool lighting as well as fiber optics and LEDs.
ID1608 should blog on image projections in commercial and performance lighting as well as catch up older blogs.
You will be presenting your light fixtures next week. I also need 11 x 17 pages with notes sketches and photos of your light fixture.
We will have a studio day other than that so bring research and whatever supplies you need to work on your final projects.

1) You need to read your Theatre of the Bauhaus handout and quantify the seating specs using the "Silver Bible" and online resources.
2) For your blog you need to research acoustical treatments for acoustical spaces, which will lead up to acoustical choices you will make for your interpretation of the Bauhaus Theatre. Here are some places to start to look, find more:

Blog subjects for Week 5: Please go to the blog at least twice or three times during the week. Respond to each other's findings.
1. Reflected Ceiling Plans. Look in your text and online find out all you can about RCP's and review that information here on the blog. You can also give web addresses for images of sample RCP's that you find.

Cover both your interior and exterior lighting. Chapter 4 from your text is related to this exercise.

Using web searches, the library, lighting textbooks and periodicals, find out all you can about daylighting and Sustainable lighting to comment on the blog.
Include links to websites and links to images files as needed.
Reference and cite sources that you find info in.
If someone beats you to the punch and says what you wanted to say, find a way to expand on their comment.
Don't wait until the night before class to do the blog and try to visit more than once in the week in order to respond to your classmates comments.
Blogging and classroom learning are both about INTERACTIVITY.
